African Informational Country Report
You have the choice of selecting any
country in Africa to research. You have
access to various resources to aid you in your research. Listed below are websites which will be
useful for your research. You are also
welcome to use your text book or any texts that you may find in the library as
well. It is recommended that you find a printed source to use.
You will also be completing a rough
draft (20 pts) that will be submitted on 9/24. For your rough draft it is
expected that you have your rough draft handout completed for use as a
reference for your work. You will also need to submit a hard copy of your final
work (80 pts) on the due date of 9/30.
You will be typing an informational
essay for this project. The length of your
report should be between 3 and six pages as you will be including information
on the various topics for your self-chosen country.
Topics
that will need to be addressed include:

History of your country (ex. early history,
colonial era, modern era, major events etc.)
·
Geography of your country (ex. location,
land, climate, etc.)
·
Culture of the country (ex. government,
culture, religion, education, population, etc.)
·
Economy of the country (ex. natural
resources, agriculture, technology, transportation, standard of living,
etc.).
