You will be completing a paper on an
approved Asia-related topic, or you also have the option to complete a Country
report.
If you choose to write
your paper on a topic, please seek my approval before beginning. Be prepared to offer rational behind your
choice. If you are writing a country
report, simply inform me of your country of choice.
Both papers should
follow the guidelines that are listed in the top-right corner of this paper.
Please ask questions if you have any, this would include formatting! A reminder that our class website has MLA
directions, in case you were to need them.
Also, www.easybib.com is a great resource to aid you when you cite your
sources.
Regardless of your
choice, both options need to be presented as an informational report. An information
report is a factual text, which means it provides information about something.
An information report is used as a way to gain a better understanding about a
living or non-living subject. An information report:
·
Uses facts to explain
something
·
Gives details about a
topic
·
Does not contain
personal views
You will also need to complete a
rough draft. Below is a condensed
version of what it should look like.
Please recreate this style on a separate piece of paper to show your
research. You may have more ideas and/or
details than shown below. This is a condensed version.
